Grateful Licensing Group - A world leader in Art Licensing
As an author/illustrator, Lee Call started drawing, painting, and writing when they were super young, and never really stopped. Making a living for the last twenty years mainly with animal portraiture, Lee had to adapt when hard lockdown caused the permanent closure of their local print shop, a business which was integral to the running of Lee’s Etsy shop. As their livelihood quickly ground to a halt during the pandemic, Lee started making digital art, using an iPad and the software Procreate.
Now Lee has multiple series in development, all of which combine their love for the written word and colorful imagery. Lee’s debut children’s book, Good Thing He’s Dead!, was released in November of 2021, and their debut novel is forthcoming.
Lee loves rainbows, dragons, movies, black humor, unicorns, ghosts, burning the patriarchy, mermaids, alien conspiracy theories, and old books, as well as processing through art their rage and horror at living in this late-stage capitalist, heterosupremacist dystopian hellscape.
Lee is a multi-fandom, neurodivergent, chronically ill, nonbinary professional cryptid. They do not like being perceived. They live in Arizona with their two dogs, one feral cat, one snake, 95 houseplants, and a bunch of tall people.
